Perryville, Arkansas is the county seat of Perry County, located about 30 Miles west of Conway, Arkansas. We are the hope to about 1,400 residents. Our beautiful city sits in the scenic Fourche River Valley at the edge of the Quachita National Forrest. We are quietly tucked away from the big cities and industry.
Some of our Local Highlights and Attractions include:
Harris brake Wildlife Management Area. A top local draw located just south of town. Not only popular for fishing, boating and hunting, the Harris Brake WMA is a great POTA (Parks On The Air) Location. The Park ID is US-7292. This area has only been activated 27 times to date. So if you are looking for a rare park to activate, this is your golden opportunity.
Our Beautiful City is right next to the Ouachita National Forrest. There are plenty of hiking adventures, camping sites and yes, you can go Off-Roading! You have a whole kingdom of outdoors to explore and enjoy.
Please feel free to contact the Perry County Chamber of Commerce located on 106 Fourche Avenue by clicking HERE. This facility acts as the hub of activity for the local business and community events.
Bet ya didn't know the Perryville School district operates above-average public schools. We still believe in reading, writing and arithmetic with our small town values. But if you wish to go to the Big Cities, bright lights and expensive shopping, we have you covered in that area as well. Little Rock, North Little Rock, Conway and the Pulaski County Metropolitan is just a short buzz down Interstate 40. And if you still want to work in a big office building and experience the hustle and bustle of a big city, the commute to larger cities is very convenient.
We don't have a Buc-ees, but we have a nice and friendly Casey's located conveniently in the center of town with competitive prices on most items including gasoline.
